Kiwi Adviser Network Conference 2024/2025 Terms & Conditions

IMAGE RELEASE:
By registering for this event, Delegates:
a) Acknowledge and agree that photographs, audio, or video recordings (Recordings) containing their image, voice, or likeness may be captured by Kiwi Adviser Network or its personnel;
b) Grant unconditional and irrevocable consent for Kiwi Adviser Network and its personnel to use the Recordings and any information provided by Delegates in perpetuity, without restriction, for promotional, educational, or other purposes related to the event;
c) Acknowledge that Delegates are not entitled to any remuneration or royalties from Kiwi Adviser Network for the use of Recordings;
d) recognize that Kiwi Adviser Network retains all intellectual property rights related to the Recordings, and consent to the infringement of any moral rights they may hold;
e) Agree that Kiwi Adviser Network may transfer this consent to any third party;
f) release Kiwi Adviser Network and its personnel from any liability related to the use of Recordings or Content. If a Delegate disagrees with these conditions, they must notify Kiwi Adviser Network in writing at events@gettrail.co.nz

LIABILITY
Delegates understand that their attendance at the event is at their own risk and are encouraged to obtain insurance for travel, accommodation, and health-related expenses. Delegates release Kiwi Adviser Network and its personnel from any liability for losses incurred in relation to the event. This clause does not limit liability for personal injury or death due to negligence or other exceptions required by law.

Delegates also indemnify Kiwi Adviser Network and its personnel against any losses resulting from breaches of these terms.

COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION:
By registering, Delegates acknowledge that any personal information provided will be handled according to Kiwi Adviser Network’s privacy policy, available at https://www.kiwiadvisernetwork.co.nz/about/privacy-policy. Relevant information may be shared with event sponsors and partners. To opt-out of this sharing, please contact events@gettrail.co.nz

SPECIAL DIETARY OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requests for special dietary  must be made before January 15th 2025. Please indicate these needs on your registration form or via email to events@gettrail.com.

CANCELLATION BY KIWI ADVISER NETWORK DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE:
In the event of a Force Majeure Event, Kiwi Adviser Network reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event. Regarding registration fees:
a) Delegates may receive a refund if the event’s nature is altered;
b) Full refunds will be issued if the event is canceled;
c) Registration fees will be transferred automatically to any rescheduled date.

CANCELLATION BY THE DELEGATE:
Delegates wishing to cancel their registration must email events@gettrail.co.nz no later than 5:00 PM on 31st January 2025. Eligible refunds will be subject to deductions for booking fees and costs incurred by Kiwi Adviser Network.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Kiwi Adviser Network will strive to ensure a comfortable event experience but cannot be held liable for any loss or inconvenience experienced by Delegates.

GENERAL:
a) Kiwi Adviser Network may withdraw a Delegate’s right to participate at its discretion, providing a full refund for event fees.
b) If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder will remain valid.
c) Kiwi Adviser Network reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without notice.
d) These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and both parties submit to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
